Privacy policy
Applies to the Catering Quote Builder app for Android (package catering.quotebuilder.app), version 1.0.0, and to cateringquotemaker.club.
In short
- Everything you enter is stored on your phone and nowhere else.
- The app has no internet permission, no account, no analytics and no ads.
- Your clients' details leave the phone only inside a quote or a backup that you share yourself.
- We hold no copy of your data, so we cannot see, recover or delete it for you.
01Who is responsible
Catering Quote Builder is provided by its publisher. There is one contact address for everything, including privacy questions: [email protected].
02Data the app works with
All of it is typed in by you and is needed for the app's only purpose, preparing catering quotes.

The app does not ask for or infer anything else. It has no account, so it holds no login, password or profile.
03Where it is stored
Everything above is kept in the app's private storage on your device. It is not included in Android's cloud backup.
When you share a PDF or a backup file, a temporary copy is written to the app's cache folder, which Android clears as needed.
04What leaves your device
Nothing leaves your device through the app itself. The app has no internet permission and contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting code. There are no servers behind it.
Data leaves the device only when you decide so:
- Quote PDF or quote text. “Share PDF”, “Share as text” and “Print” hand the document to the Android share sheet or print dialog. It contains your business details, the client's name and contact details, the event and the prices. Where it goes is your choice and is governed by the app or service you pick.
- Backup file. “Save a backup file” hands one file with all app data to the share sheet in the same way.
- Links. The e-mail, privacy policy and website rows on the About screen, and a client's phone number or e-mail address, open your mail app, browser or dialler.
05Your clients' data
The names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and addresses of your customers that you enter are under your control: you are the controller of that data. The publisher never receives it and has no access to it.
A quote or a backup file that you share contains those details, so choose where you send it with the same care as any other document about your clients.
06Third parties
None. The app has no data processors, no software components that receive data and no advertising partners.
07Permissions
The app requests no Android permissions. Restoring a backup uses the system file picker, which gives the app access only to the single file you select.
08Keeping and deleting data
Your data stays until you delete it.
- Single records: events, quote variants, clients, dishes and your own templates can be deleted in the app.
- Everything: “Erase all data” in More → Backup and restore removes it all. So does clearing the app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app.
Because nothing is held on a server, there is nothing for the publisher to delete on request, and the publisher cannot recover lost data. Backup files you saved elsewhere are under your control.
09Children
The app is a business tool for adults and is not directed at children.
10Profiling and transfers
The app makes no automated decisions about people, does no profiling and transfers no data to other countries.
11This website
Cateringquotemaker.club is an information site about the app. Its pages set no cookies, contain no analytics or advertising scripts and no forms, and load their fonts and images from the site's own address.
As with any website, the server that delivers the pages may keep technical access logs, such as the IP address, the time and the page requested.
If you write to [email protected], your e-mail address and your message are used to answer you.
12Changes to this policy
If a later version of the app starts to transmit any data, this policy and the app's Data safety information on Google Play will be updated before that version is released. The date at the top shows the latest change.
